2026 Town of Chapel Hill Community Survey

Dear Community Member,
Every two years, we survey residents about our services, facilities, and programs. This gives us a broad sense about both what we’re doing well and areas where we need to improve. We listen when you tell us about areas we should focus on. In 2024, residents indicated that they wanted us to prioritize transportation infrastructure, traffic management, and planning and development services.

Since then, we’ve continued planning for bus rapid transit and greenways expansion.
We’ve continued to make traffic safety improvements aligned with our Vision Zero goals.
We’re close to completing our LUMO rewrite, a comprehensive update to our land use rules.
